This interior condo painting project required a whole new interior painting design. The new design was centred around the double-sided feature wall. As a result, the feature wall now has a modern concrete design to match the whole condo.
This bold and modern condo was a pleasure to work on. Our condo painting skills were put to the test with high ceilings and extensive design work. Luckily, our expert interior painting team was ready for this total condo update!

Of course, preparation is key to any successful project. Also, paint generally lasts longer on a prepared surface. Preparing surfaces for interior painting requires washing, scraping, sanding, and any required wall repairs.
The whole condo needed to be repainted, from the ceilings, all the way down to the baseboards. Step by step, we painted every surface to match our client’s design theme. But the true design work was focused on the kitchen and the living room.

Before starting the color wall, we updated the kitchen cabinets. We revamped the kitchen space by painting the cabinets. We chose black to match the modern European design concept.
For this design, we used a mix of black, white, and grey tones. Now, everything blends with the condo’s overall color scheme. Overall, this simple change created an entirely new kitchen.
This modern theme features a sleek painting design. The cabinet’s new color now looks much more modern it did before. Plus, all of the colors pull together to create a harmonized home.

Our designers were tasked to create the whole theme, including the feature wall. To make sure we got every detail, there were multiple design consultations. We also kept the client totally informed throughout the whole project.
The clients specified that they wanted to update the kitchen wall. However, they wanted to keep the original brick of the living room wall. This would create a separation between rooms while keeping the whole home to a common theme.
Our designers worked thoroughly to create a concept that fit the client’s vision. The chosen design theme was modern European, which is a clean and bold concept. Using monochromatic tones also makes a condo feel more spacious. Eventually, from this curated design, stemmed the concrete design feature wall.
We zeroed in on the feature wall design, making both sides the focal points. The condo’s concept ensured that the modern white colors would complement the red brick and concrete designs.
Instead of creating a new wall over the old brick, we designed a concept over it. We worked with the present stone material to create the kitchen feature wall’s concrete design. These walls were to be the focal points of the rooms.
Our clients chose the concrete design to help balance the overall painting design. In the photos, you can see that the feature walls are clearly the focal points.
Keeping the red brick, gave the home a classic character. Meanwhile, it also added warmth to the monochromatic tones of the modern theme. Without warmth, the room would be spacious but would feel cold
Condos typically present different challenges than homes and commercial buildings. To start, they aren’t structured the same. Generally, they have high ceilings, which requires different methods and safety measures.
The walls of this condo stretched up to a height of 14 feet and the roof was slanted. This all means we needed to take extra safety precautions. We brought in equipment like scaffolding to ensure it was all done with special care.
